My profitable take on the Eagles since their second game with the Giants last year (in which the Giants did cover) has been that the bigger the game is for them, the more likely it is that my money will be on Philadelphia, until there is some convincing evidence to the contrary.
Philadelphia is certainly a dangerous dog and prime time player that has to be respected to hang with anybody, especially with the dog days we've been having. The 13-3 game these two teams played on a Saturday last year is one of my favorite games I remember from last year. Tonight I expect the 49ers to match their level of play from that game.
I think there is evidence and not just speculation as to how a big game plays out with the other Detmer rather than Donovan McNabb at quarterback.
