Hi everyone,
Tonight I'm going with both dogs and won't be surprised to see one of them win outright...just have the sense we may witness an upset tonight...so I have decided to put roughly more than80% of my play on the spread, and roughly less than 20% of each play on the moneyline...FYI when i play a game this way and put majority of money on the spread, and a fraction on the ML - i consider this to be one play in my record...reason being if the team covers, but doesn't win outright - well I still make money on the play - so consider that a win, likewise if both go down, well it's considered a loss...just how i record it...should make sense...I really don't see both faves covering...
While Va Tech has alot of talent - and I've made some good money playing on them this year - i think Maryland will show up to play...this is also sort of a fading the public play - heavy money on Va Tech - i'll take the +10.5...think Maryland brings their "A" game, and while they may not win outright, think they have a strong chance of covering - but let's think positive and that they will pull off the win so we'll play the moneyline small as well!
I'm backing Florida Int'l +10 and this is more of a play against Troy - they avg. like should not be favored by 10 against anyone w/ how their offense can struggle....they like to run, and fla int'l can stop their run...i see a close one here - take the genrous points, and likewise a small amount of moneyline...
I think the FLA Int/Troy game total is too high - i see this one played in the mid 30's - take the under...
The Plays:
Maryland +10.5 Risking $440 to win $400
Maryland +350 ML Risking $100 to win $350
Florida Intl +10 Risking $440 to win $400
Florida Int +325 ML Risking $100 to win $325
Fl Int/Troy under 45 Risking $440 to win $400
Good luck let's kick this CFB weekend off w/ a bang!
