Moyer will step it up in his first start for new team. Anyway, he is killer against these NL batters who haven't seen his crazy junk before.
It just baffles them.
Look at his interleague numbers, especially when he was in good form (like last few years).
Moyer last faced Cubs in 1991 and not single player on that team is on it now (Moyer had his MLB debut here in 1986 and beat Steve Carlson and the Phillies!)
that O' Malley kid should start strong, hyped as he is to be starting in the park where he was such a huge fan as a youngster.
but I think those Phillies bats will figure O'Malley out soon enough (unlike lame Houston in his last start!)
The Phillies have won nine of their last 12 games at Wrigley Field.
