Hi everyone - just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck over the next week. I have enjoyed another great month, and am going to guarantee myself a nice $3,005 profit for Feb, adding it to the $4,000 made in Jan - for a nice total of $7,005 for the year. I use $100 as my unit of play, so +70.05 units for the year is definitely a great start to the year.

I always make it my goal to try and win at least 100 units, or at least $10,000 over the course of the year and last year I exceeded this goal by over twice as much...I always start w/ a $10,000 bankroll on January 1st...and I save and invest the winnings from the previous year - i find this is the way to do it...make it the goal to win 100% of your starting bankroll in 12 months - so to double up...and I have had winning years each of the 5 years I have invested in sports wagering, hitting the five figure mark each of the last 2 seasons...I am well on my way to achieving this goal, the year is only 2 months in, gives me 10 more months to reach my goal and then some. Of course i don't mind when i exceed my goal, but making a goal really helps to keep you focused and if you exceed it just keep on going!

Had a great run winning 12 of the last 14 wagering days here in February and will hope to continue the success in March. I will be doing a bit more research during the week to get familiar w/ more teams as we get closer to the big NCAA tourney.

I do think it is good for all of us cappers to take breaks from time to time - it really clears your head a little - i know i spend quite a bit of time each day outside of my other career to find those winning selections - so far in both Jan & Feb have hit the 60% or better mark. This is a true result of hard work putting into my handicapping of the teams and understanding the psychology of the Vegas line - and which side is truely the right side. When you wager on NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA like I do these breaks are important throughout the season, because it can be draining to put in time into handicapping every day of the year...most take a break when losing, however i find it is also good to take a break when winning.

So good luck to everyone in the next week - make sure to play smart - don't start chasing if you are having a losing season, and if you are winning, don't throw away all your profits on a few games - remain disciplined. I've seen a lot of people making big plays on games or last of their bankroll on one game - don't do this - it's a long year and you don't want to lose your bankroll on 1 or 2 plays...MONEY MANAGEMENT RULES THIS GAME GUYS - remember put some money away when you are winning and SAVE IT for the future!

See you all March 1st! Take care...
