Tampa Bay Lightning schedule

Holy hell.....

I was just looking at the Carolina Hurricanes upcoming games as they are on a road trip right now (and I'm a Caniac) and we play the Lightning next. I took a look at the Lightning schedule and they are in the middle of a 12 game homestand. Let me repeat that......TWELVE GAME HOMESTAND. Is that not totally sick??? I've never heard of such a thing. The homestand started on Jan 23 and goes through Feb 25. So they dont play away from home for over a damned month. Thats just nuts

It's crazy IE.....12 games is an eternity. Not having to travel for a month??? Wow.

Obviously, they are going to have road trips to offset this....but not some 12 game, 1 month road trip.
