My book is now showing Harper is starting for the D-Rays tonight instead of James. Not that it should really matter, since the line only changed slightly. Just a FYI.

Harper? Isn't he a really old former NBA point guard or is it Valerie Harper? Anyways he's a TB D Ray, so either of the above listed is probably a good comparison.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
stole this from a posting at covers by "legal 8"

"Harper set a D-Rays record with seven whiffs in 4.1 relief innings Wednesday. In the past, my biggest gripe about Harper has been his abysmal strikeout rates, but something is going on. He had a 12-0 K/BB ratio in 11.1 spring training innings. He had a 17-3 K/BB ratio in 19.1 April innings at Triple-A--although he did have a 6.98 ERA and allowed 31(!) hits. Now, he has 7.2 innings with the D-Rays and has a 1.23 ERA, has allowed only five hits and has an 11-2 K/BB ratio."

by the way, that relief appearance where he went 4.1 innings was against the Yanks...
