On October 18th of last year, the Panthers traveled to Raymond James Stadium to take on the Bucs. They escaped with a 28-21 win behind DeAngelo Williams' 153 yards and two TDS. Their QB that day completedjust 9 of 17 passes for 65 yards. Two of those were completed to the other team. Amazingly enough, one of those passes went for a TD. Who was the man under the helmet doing his best Ryan Leaf impression? None other than Jake Delhomme.

Now Jake is playing for Cleveland after they gave him a nice, shiny 7 million dollar bonus to come and be their QB. His team this week makes the same trip to Tampa to take on the Bucs again. What has changed for Jake in the year since he last played here?

For starters, he will not have the luxury of handing the ball to TWO 1,000 yard rushers. With Cleveland he won't even have one. When Jake got in trouble, Steve Smith or the veteran Mushin Mohammed were always there as a safety net. Mohamed Massaquoi and his 34 catches from a year ago is the top target for Delhomme.

In Week One, all you have to go off of is your gut.
