The Tampa Bay Lightning made the most of their longest break of the season.
They won't have much more time off.

The Lightning begin a grueling 68-game stretch as they meet the Buffalo Sabres at the Ice Palace.

Tampa Bay, which has an NHL-low two losses after 15 games, returned from a season-high five-day break in its schedule to beat the New York Islanders 3-2 on Thursday.

Aside from the All-Star break, the Lightning will not have more than two days between games for the remainder of the season, and will play 13 back-to-backs from now until April.

Physically and mentally demanding to keep it together for the Bolts...
