Tax Cut vs. Turbo Tax

Any one use any of these Tax programs? Are they easy to use? accurate?

I've used TurboTax for the last seven years and I've always been happy with it. My ex-husband was a State employee who taught an EMT class once a year for which he received a 1099, and not a W-2. This caused us to have to file with self-employment issues. TurboTax guided me easily through and saved us in deductions each year.

Have used turbo tax for a few years, last year they pissed a lot of people off with there registration process, I will not use them again just for that, going to try and use tax cut this year, my dad switched to them last year and said it was very easy.

I had used Turbo Tax for 5 or 6 years then a few years back the Wall Street Journal did a huge review on both products (may still be availble online). Basically not only did they like TaxCut more, but it was also $20 cheaper at the time. I switched and have never looked back. Great program takes me no time at all.

We got married this year and make substantial donations to our church. Do these programs cover all situations like this? I will assume they do.

Found this article. Since I use Microsoft Money, I will probably be using Tax Cut this year.

never seen tax cut, but have used turbo and like it. furthermore, church deductions are on the programs.
