UAB is coming off a big win vs.Tulane.TCU likewise with So Miss.Both teams going in the same direction before there last games.Down to the bottom of the Conf. USA pit.But UAB on the road is 1-7 with 6 straight losses.Lost to Memphis 22,Marquette 8,So Miss 14,VCU 6 and Lasalle by 3.Bartow will need to slow the ball down tonite vs the O minded Horn Frogs.TCU ranks 1st in the conf. in scoring 86 pts a game.Tubbs high flying offense is all run and gun.This team takes shots from all over with no discipline.On defense they are the worst giving up 83 pts a game.But they are 11-4 at home and 7-3 ats.On the road their like UAB.Blount,Santee,Brown Bingo,and the waterboy all avg in double figures.
UAB has Campbell who in his last couple of games has scored and rebounded.Batchelor is good and Arnold who missed the Tulane game should be back tonite.But TCU has to much speed for UAB.They are more athletic,shoot better,rebound better,and should win this game by double digits.Tubbs has no control over this team but for subbing his players.Hopefully he subs well enough for a nice home win.TCU -4
Fairfield -4.5 over Niagara.
Some simalarities with the above game.Stags on offense tough.Defense is terrible.Niagara like UAB on the road.going with 7'0 Gunga-Ding cousins.Stags going one way,Aces going the other.Purple are 4-11 ats.They did beat the Stags 2 weeks ago by 2 in the Falls.Not tonite.
Miami -7 over BC.
Still think they are overated even with Bell.Canes shoot better,play D better,rebound better,shoot FT's better and are at home.Skinner is a terrible coach.Canes win by 10.
Lasalle +1 over Penn.
Penn is loaded and has some swelled heads from Joes blowout.Not crazy about Lasalle but at home they lost to Dayton by 2 and XU by 4 the past 2 weeks.
JoHnnies +1.5 over the Hall.
Hall has no inside game.Manga and Morton avg about 13 pts combined.So they depend on Barrett,Lane,Allen,Shine,etc.Johnnies have no outside game except for Hattan.Anybody could win this.I'll take the pt and a half with the Hall winning by 1.
