had to adjust this post after i realized whata stiff sean stilley is.....he can snatch defeat out of the hands of victory.....still playin` tcu...i think they cover 13 here...but,after looking closer, tcu did their best work with tye gunn playing....g.l.

...everybody down on tcu after giving last week`s game away on the road...stats-

yards-
tcu...455
ecu-235

first downs-
tcu...22
ecu...9

turnovers-tcu "7"

TCU DOMINATED THIS GAME...they basically gave it away...

lines-TCU-14(bought down to 13) vs memphis....louisville-17 vs HOUSTON(home team in caps)

now,tcu has to win at home vs memphis who handled army last week,38-10...louisville has to win on the road at houston and hope tcu loses to win conf usa championship...

the line baffles me...houston beat memphis AT memphis 26-21 and ran for substantial yardage...tcu beat louisville at louisville....
and yet louisville is laying 17 AT houston and tcu is laying only 14 AT HOME vs memphis...obviously,memphis is getting to much credit for beating a bad army team at home....and tcu is getting dissed for giving a game away on the road that they dominated...memphis has a very poor run defense and tcu has a dominating ground game...memphis has a poor run offense vs decent competition...tcu gives up very little on the ground...memphis will have to throw to stay in the game.....i think tcu will be pissed after last week`s disaster and hammer memphis at home as many middle of the road teams in conference usa have done already this season.....i bought this down to 13 already as i see this line jumping up to almost 17 by gametime(a nice middle)......we absolutely have the better club here with enormous motivation, despite stilley` shortcomings....g.l.

My numbers show TCU should be favored by 12.5 and Louisville by 14 so Vegas has compensated a little anyway to the better teams.

One of the best 'first time posts' Ive seen on this forum in 5 years came on Saturday from a TCU local. Something like joefrog I believe. He described how the team has yet to rally around former starter SR Qb Stilley. TCU's offense was geared around Gunn who is out.

Stilley threw four first half picks in 16 attempts, then TCU fell apart at the end of the game with big CUSA implications. I was fooled and had TCU LW, figuring an extra bye week of practice would get the QB up to par. Obviously that was a mistake.

Hard to figure out what team shows up here.

is based on the frogs taking the game out of stilley`s hands this week....memphis has a poor rushing defense and tcu has a pretty powerful ground game at this level...with conf usa championship motivation at home i like them...i took a hard look at their tulane game at home recently(a 7 point, close win for tcu),then looked at tulane...tulane played downright stifling defense down the stretch this year....and their offense struggled somewhat(which is a complete 180 degree turnaround from previous tulane teams).... memphis only close game on the road was vs a so fla club looking ahead to a big game vs then undefeated bowling green....even in that game they fell behind early 28-7,before so fla let up...the closest memphis came on the road other than so fla was a 14 point loss to uab....i have downgraded this play to a medium play based on stilley`s ineptitude....

That TCU post last week came from me. I hadn't bet on TCU all year and the one time I tell other people to bet on them they lose outright. Sorry for that.

I bet on USC, Cal, No. Tx, TCU & Hawaii last week. I choose to bet on what I thought were sure things in TCU & Hawaii instead of my other two picks - Ohio St. and Ok St. I should have went with my first instincts.

This week I will not bet on TCU, but I agree with the above post that Head Coach Gary Patterson will take this game out of Sean Stilley's hands and run, run, run Lonta Hobbs. I also think the other two rb's - Kenny Hayter & Corey Connally might see some action. Ricky Madison will redeem himself by holding onto the football better after giving up the game-losing fumble.

Patterson has preached all year that he never expects one person to win a football game. I believe he will stress to Sean Stilley that he will not have to win this game through the air. TCU shook off the heart-breaking loss against Cincy in the first game of the year to win 8 straight. They should bounce back this weekend with an impressive win to lock down a bid to the Liberty Bowl. Liberty Bowl officials were supposed to be at this game, but I don't know if they still will be due to last week's loss.
