Been pondering this all day. Seems like every year we have the cinderella team in the WS the so called team of destiny. Detroit has pretty much already been labled this and has it branded on them every which way. However, underneath the limelight a strong case is made that the Cards are the true team of Destiny this year. Not supposed to be hear by any means and beat all odds.
Both teams folded at the end of regular season then got it done right at the end. Tigers are clearly America's choice, just got that funny funny feeling Cards may surprise attack em' early and take that improbable 2-0 or even 2-1 lead in the series putting Detroit on their heels. If this happens it will be interesting to see how Detroit responds cause they haven't really felt adversity yet in the post season.
Coming off of 7 wins in a row is an accomplishment in the post season, winning 8, 9, or 10 in a row or even going 9-1 to go up 2-1 on the Cards is a feat in itself. I truly think we gotta a great series on hand and just have that funny feeling Cards are gonna take the momentum quick.
