The Cats are in frigid Wisconsin to do battle with Marquette (5-4) at 7:00 pm eastern. Nova is -4/141
Marquette has beat #9 Wisconsin and #13 Creighton. They lost their last game to Xavier on a buzzer beater. They are led by guards Koby McEwen (15.2 ppg/44% from 3) and DJ Carton (12 ppg). Theo John at 6?9? and 255 pounds is their glass cleaner. Freshman Dawson Garcia (13.1 ppg) rounds out the key starters.
Life on the road in the Big East is not fun. I think the Cats are in for a dog fight tonight. Marquette can turn the ball over and their beyond the arc defense is suspect. Nova will have to be hitting from deep and try to get John in foul trouble to pull this one out. Marquette will be fired up for sure. McEwen loves playing against Nova and will likely have a great game.
