You work in Telecomm ? What do you do ?
I work for a company in the Ukraine ...on the wholesale side here in NY . We terminat traffic to the Ukraine mostly .
Just wondering if anyone here worked the same business .

sell OSS to providers: billing, CABs, GIS-mapping, C.O., etc. Tough times right now. Thin commissions, trying to supplement with wagers. Trying. We had a Russian consultant on eng. staff, he promised for years he would bring in some big overbuilder from there; they fired him yesterday.
I see all the resellers at tradeshows. Your customers I guess... They all wear expensive watches and have a hot babe on their side. They don't bother with the booths -- they just congregate in the lobby and make deals. Fun to watch, the babes I mean.

I work as a supervisor for a group of network surveillance analysts. We monitor lucent 5ess and Nortel dms switches, also diasgnose and troubleshoot problems on ds1 ds3 and ds0 level.
smash, are you strictly a service bureau NOC or do you have your own network as well. What kind of Trouble reporting software do you guys use? Do you use any AutoCAD or mapping system to track to the ds0 level? all these questions -- too much folgers

Would you guys know how i could convert ss7's into VoIP for termination ? Everyone seems to have a different idea about this ...but nothing coming through .
We have a bunch of customers waiting to sign , but we dont terminate ss7's , until we get a US license .
