Maybe it's just me but the Gold group looks soft in comparison to the Red.

I'm going with defending champ Nalby for small @ 50/1 here. Like last year, he just needs to qualify and then I think he has a solid shot against anyone in the Gold. If you recall, he played his best game ever beating the Fed in a thrilling final. I was going to wait until he lost the first round robin to the Fed but if he did win the opener, the odds would plummet too much. Might put a little more after he loses the opener if the odds soar.

Passing on a Fed hedge, price too expensive, will let Rafa ride, means minimum profit for the season will be +34.56 units, gotta be happy enough in a tough grinding year with that.

Don't blame you for not hedging on Nadal's bitch. Nad's is 6-2 H2H......2-1 on hard court....yet the best price you can possibly get on The Fed is -500. That's ridiculous. On paper and recent form this looks an easy Fed win but the mental aspects are going to play a big part once again. Nads beat down an excellent performance by Davydenko on pure heart. He got better as the game went on....despite calling for a trainer/injury time-out in the 3rd set. He's showing that old flash. Lucky for The Fed this is only a 3-setter cause I think the frustrations would really show if Nad's continued his defensive digs into a 4th and 5th.
I am in for only small on Nad's cause it's only 3 sets but I had his bitch priced @-325. The competition of the two semi's could make this the best tennis day of the year.

Hopefully we will see a Nalby/Nads final so one of us will win.....preferably me!

Do you think I should hedge on Blake at about +120? I think he made a big mistake with the way he played Robredo yesterday. He came out free swinging. Little exertion used with high risk shots (winners if they land). When that didn't work he decides to play more to his norm....presses for the win but loses anyway in a grueller. He should have played one way or the other for the whole game.

Not the ideal week to end on, but that's the reality of the game.
Been a tough year, had to slog away and ride some ups and downs, but as I like to say, any day above ground is a good day...
As mentioned previously, am not going to post plays next year; want to dedicate some time to other avenues...
So thanks for all the kind words, advice and feedback - hope u enjoyed the ride.
