Wondering alound again, after another report of confrontational terror threats just prior to a spotlighted election situation in our country. Interesting to note yet again the claims of our government to Al Qaida's role in the Bhutto assassination the timing of the entire situation. This report evidently came from an Italian source, and has not been corroborated or explained since, and comes less than a week before the Iowa Caucus and the intense scrutiny of candidates.

Then, today, on the eve of New Hampshire, we learn of Iran evidently messing with our Navy in a "provocational" manner. I can remember a very detailed timeline over the past few years of these situations preceding electoral happenings in our country...and it just does make me wonder. I sure don't mean to demean anyone who has suffered from these events, but it's uncanny how this stuff comes up when it does, sometimes.

Just to add to what you've said, Chad, there is another tape. Bush is traveling in the middle east, and there was a tape released recently by that American born Al Qaeda Adam Gadahn.

CAIRO (AP) ? al-Qaeda's American spokesman urged fighters to greet U.S. President George W. Bush with "bombs" not "flowers" when he visits the Middle East later this week, according to a new video posted on the Internet Sunday.

California-born Adam Gadahn also tore up his U.S. passport as part of a "symbolic" protest against the U.S. in the nearly hour-long rhetoric-dominated tape ? al-Qaeda's first message of the new year.

The release comes just three days before Bush is scheduled to arrive in Israel for a week-long trip that will also bring him to the West Bank, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as part of his push for an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement.

There are three reasons this helps the Republicans:

First, terror is a Republican issue. None of the Dems are playing the "we will keep you safe from terror" card. New Hampshire is a state with lots of independents. The issue will cause confusion with the Dems and hurt Obama and Edwards.

Second, the Republicans need to remind folks of what the important issue is.

Third, the Republicans want to run against Hillary.

Bottom line: This helps Republicans.

al-Qaeda

Created by the CIA, OBL, son of very old and dear Bush friends.....,

War on Terrah.... thoroughly hyped, constructed to maintain the fear of the sheep forever....

Why does anybody believe anything,,, I mean Anything our government promotes?

I am so afraid...... not. At least not of Al Qaeda.... The only terrorists I am afraid of are in Washington and associated demonic hot spots....

I don't buy into the theory, necessarily, AR. Just a lot of coincidences of the same mold, which could be for the same reasons/benefits. Don't mean to trivialize people suffering from the events, by any means.

The same folks who believe this crap, also believe that Oswald killed Kennedy if they're old enough to remember and believe that the Cheney administration won't create an incident to bomb Iran and help the fag party beat Hillary.
