TEXAS TECH -5 - Texas Tech has won 3 of the last 4 meetings in this head-to-head series, including an exciting 48-47 victory at A&M last season. Tech has been terrific here at home, where they are 11-3 S/U and an impressive 10-3, 76.9% ATS since the start of the 2001 season, winning their home games by an average of 17.5 points! The last time they faced the Aggies in this stadium, they shut them out 12-0 in 2001. Tech has had one of the best passing attacks in the nation so far this year, averaging 494.8 passing yards per game, and I don?t think they will slowed down by a Texas A&M defense that appears to be a notch below their fine defenses of recent years. While Tech has excelled at home the last 2 years, Texas A&M has struggled on the road over this same period, going just 3-7-1 ATS and 5-6 S/U. A&M may be 3-3 S/U on the road since last year, but consider that their 3 wins were a non-covering 14-12 victory over Pittsburgh and wins at Baylor and Kansas last year when both clubs were terrible. They have lost their last 2 road games by scores of 50-20 at Texas and 35-19 at Virginia Tech, and they may be in for another long night if Tech jumps out to a quick lead here.
