Line is Texas (+3)

WOW. I know K state has owned Texas the last 2yrs in football and basketball....However, I would put this Texas team up against anybody right now.

They can play defense, zone, man, etc....

Augustine is the best point guard in the country...

Damion James is the most underrated player in the country....

Shoot, rebound, whatever - they can do it.

That said, in my opinion, Texas is the play tonight.

What do you guys think? Is that fish I smell?

Few quotes I stumbled accross from the local Lawrence paper today -

?They?ve been playing better than any team in the country,? Kansas State freshman Michael Beasley said. ?They?re a good team. They defend. They?ve got a whole army.?

?They?re big. They?re so darn big,? Kansas State coach Frank Martin said. ?They?re long and they pressure you. They?re a good team.?

?Bill played as hard as he could play,? Martin said. ?Bill defended, he went after balls. Give Texas some credit. They did the same thing to Kevin Love at UCLA, and Kevin Love, last time I checked, is a pretty good player. Texas is good.?

I have read numerous posts that reference Texas' lack of a post game aka SIZE. Can you say Atchley, Wanananmeeenne, and Pittman? Texas really may be a better team without Durant - who would have thought?

I hope Kstate makes the big dance. You never know with B-Easy - anything can happen? It wold be a shame to have a player of his caliber in the NIT...

Between Texas and Kansas, I think the Big 12 has a good shot at the Final Four.

Peace.
