Texas-105 x3 (Rogers/Lohse)

Rogers allowed 2 runs or less in 7 of 9 starts this season and has only allowed 3 HRs in over 58 innings this year. Rogers road ERA 4.04 vs. Lohse's home ERA 4.37. Texas had a closed door meeting after last nite's game, and their GM really let them have it about their lackadaisical play. Rogers has struggled 2 of last 3 games but was against good offensive teams. These 2 teams have alternated wins and losses the last 12 games. I like Texas to break their losing streak here against an average pitcher.

Thanks for the info. I have been patiently waiting for something about this game. I too liked Texas, but was on the fence. Will play a little on Texas after seeing a well respected capper go this way.

Nice to see you back in the forum and posting again! Rogers has had a great season to date, but he is facing a Twins team with live bats and I fear Rogers is due for a rough outing. This will be a no play situation for me, but I will be rooting for the Rangers to come through for you!

I'm laying off of the Cubbie game altogether, just gonna watch this Prior kid pitch. If feels like the Cubbies are in the game1 of the World Series in Chicago with all the expectations on him, lots of excitement here for the 1st time since the opening day, that's for sure. But then again, they lost their opening day game, too.:shrug:
