I have done a lot of analysis on others threads, so I will keep this one short and sweet and get right to the picks....

First off, I put some small change on Dale JR to win at 8-1.

I threw some smaller change at Bobby Hamilton at 20-1.

MATCHUPS

Gordon +125 over Jarrett---As I said in another thread I will take a tossup with +125 odds anyday. I think if anyone should be the favorite in this matchup it should be Gordon, Chevy has the aero package in this race that will prevent Ford from making great runs.

T LaBonte -115 over Skinner---I have been rather unimpressed with LaBonte over the course of the week, but he knows this track better than most and matched up against a car that isnt great itself, he should be able to outclass Skinner simply by driving ability not by motor. Another note, Skinner may be tired from yesterdays run.

Nadeau +125 over Ward Burton---I cant understand this matchup. Ward hit his car pretty good in happy Hour, and although he is going with his primary car, this didnt bode well for his chances in this race. Nadeau on the other hand runs the 1.5 mile tracks excellent, and should finish well today.

Nadeau +135 over Harvick---I think we are getting to the point now where Harvick is being accepted by the public and that means OVERVALUE. He had a bad qualifying run, and didnt get a whole lot of practice of how to "race" yesterday, b/c he just learned how to drive defensively from the front of the pack, well he wont be there today, and may not finish well.

Park -105 over Rudd---Rudd doesnt look too bad, but I think with the combo of Junior having a great race car this week, goes the fact that Park will run well also. Rudd also drives a Ford and that doesnt bode well for his chances. And besides, Park is just plain good.

PARLAY

Junior over Marlin -180
Andretti over Elliott -150
Junior is the class of the field and Andretti had a bad qualifying run but has the better car by far. Just some bad luck...

This parlay pays about 1.5 units for your 1 unit, or close to it.

GOOD LUCK!

Played along with a few of your picks plus a couple of my own. Had Harvick over Rudd as well and Rudd just went out. Thanks for your insight. Let's hope Gordon can come through now and Jr. wins it all.

IM speechless......Horseshit, is all I can say.

This shit is becoming uncappable. It all seems that they run 90% of the race and you see who has the best cars, and who SHOULD win, but then you get to the final pit stop and people start screwing with tires and fuel ect... and you get dumb ass results. No reason that Junior doesnt win this race, again, all I can say is horseshit.....

That last pit stop pretty much ruined a real profitable day but we had the right guy. Jarret just pisses me off. He's such and unexciting driver but seems to be there at the end often, too often. I'm getting more and more impressed with Harvick.
Look at Stewart next week in Martinsville. Read a story in the local paper today where he basically is whining about how much he hates racing there. Poor record there to prove it. Could be a good go against. I know he won there last year but just looking at his troubles this year combined with the closeness of short-track racing could be worth a look.

Big Tease - i'm right there with ya! unfreaking believable. twenty laps to go on my Dale JR outright, he's miles the best car all race and leading now...and WTF happens...god damned pit stops and cautions....F***!

we DID totally have the right guy though. not that that is ANY consolation whatsoever. I better NEVER EVER hear any bookies whining about not winning on NASCAR after today.

Well, I put a lot of dough on Park at 8-1 to be in the winner's circle! It was like deja vu all over again with him finishing second to Jarrett. I still say Park has probably showed the most consistency since the season started, along with Jarrett. The only good thing that might come out of this is Dale might stop whining about the Fords design disadvantages....

I am posting primarily to let ya'll know that I have been reading all of this stuff and had some plans this morning. Got cut off with technical difficulties and was unable to place ANY wagers! I'm a winner!

Yeah... 'cause I was going to place a wager on Dale Jr.

Have been playing golf on here, too. Had my first BIG winning weekend since I started doing golf about a month ago.

Stanley and Ian and Dogs That Bark are fun, intelligent and made ME some MONEY! About three hundred fifty to four hundred on MINIMUM wagers! Cannot believe it!

Yes... I AM gloating dammit! lol

Best of luck to you all.
