Texas (-2) over Xaiver
It has been a great run for the X-men but tonight IMO it will end. Texas has too many good players to keep allow Xaiver to be in this game. Miss St was good but they had a limited bench, Texas has an 8 to 9 man depth. Hight goes in favor of Texas with Tucker, Thomas and Buchman. I see the same type of game Texas had with UNC. The starting 5's will battle but in the end Texas should take it. Chamer, Sato and Finn are tough but Muton, Ivey and Paulino should have the quickness to stay with them. Boddicker needs to hit the three! Miss St only had two player that shot over 50% from the field! XU has over come DD deficits to win, IMO Texas will not let them back in it if they take the lead.
Duke (-7) over Illinois
I was at the Cincy vs. Ill game, Illinois played out of their minds. IMO Cincy waqs overrated and should have lost to ETSU. Cincy lacks the ability to shoot the mid-range jump, something duke does well. Duhon and Ewing are much better at putting pressure on the ball than the cincy guards. Duke has JJ & Deng who present match-up troubles and are outside threats which should stretch the defense just enough to get williams free in the paint. Only problem I se with this play is Illinois loves the three ball if it is falling they have a good chance at the upset. IMO I do not see them doing that very well against the pressure guard play of Duke. .
Would like to take Kansas (-4) because they are so close to home but UAB was impressive defensively against Kentucky! So may just have to watch that game.
