Looks like a lot of folks on the same sides tonight, guess we sink or swim together

PHI (Daal/Burnett) -130

PHI just the better club with motivation here. Both pitchers have been shaky of late, but Daal seems to pitch well with a rested arm, 7-2 3.36 ERA w/ 5+ days off. Burnett has never pitched well vs. PHI 0-2 10.61 ERA vs PHI and just 5-6 5.06 ERA w/ 5+ days off, and FLA just 14-22 vs. LHP. Take the better team at home with the better rested arm at a short price.

STL (Kile/Arroyo) -195

Hate to lay this kind of chalk but look for STL ot keep it rolling here. Kile has been very solid vs. PIT 1-0 17IP 0.00 ERA and has been OK lst 3 16.1IP 4.96 ERA 17.6MBA (Kinda high). Arroyo has been worse, 17IP 6.35 ERA 13.2MBA lst 3, 0-1 7.20 ERA vs. STL and 1-4 6.13 ERA w/ 5+ days off. PIT also doesn't support him very well 4.2-5.8.

TOR (Lyon/Rekar) -190

Chalk seems to be the theme of the day. This is partly a system play with TOR having won 3 straight, supposed to play them next 3 at home, having lost yesterday makes game 2 stronger. Seems to be anadvantage for pitchers not seen this late in the season. Plus the obvious numbers Rekar 0-6 7.32 ERA on RD, 0-2 20.2IP 6.10 ERA vs. TOR and terrible run support 3.3-6.3. Lyon, 2-1 2.79 ERA HM and good support with 4.3-3.6.

Good hunting

MOV,

Been waiting on your post all day.. Of your 3 plays which do you think is the strongest?? I need one bailout play for tonight and have some bankroll left to play with for the weekend college games. I got into some trouble with the Braves and Giants this week.. If you don't mind helping me out, please post the best of the three plays. Thanks in advance.

Wow.....this is sad. Instead of "bailing out", and putting pressure on MOV to "dig you out", why don't you claw back a little at a time?

yyz,

Was I talking to you?? I admit I made a poor move on playing baseball games this week. I was trying to build up some loot for this weekends football games. See I only bet college and pro football but got greedy and lost this week on baseball. It's called a mistake, but I'm sure you've never made any of those. You're such a smart mouth, whats your pick for tonight.. Look dude if you're not going to post some helpful info then please, don't reply to any of my threads.

BigMac, don't know how long you been lurking, but MJ's has seen this before and it is rarely pretty. I know the urge you are feeling to get back to even for the week. It is a strong one and hard to fight, but you will be richer in the long run if you do. yyz was trying to help and I am sure others here would've posted the same if they beat him to it. play wisely and claw back up. be angry that you only won x $$$'s as opposed to being absolutely crushed when you lose xxxxxx $$$'s.

that being said, if you decide to take the big swing tonight, please let us know who you play. I'll gladly throw a few bucks on the other side.....

personally, i think we're all big boys here. certainly old enough to play with our own wallets and not be nosing around in others wallets. jmo.
so perhaps, before anymore gasoline is thrown on the bonfire, let's just say it's my opinion anyone is more than welcome to throw their wallet on it.

so, to answer the gentleman's question ...

i would make 2 bets.
i would never throw it all on one.

Toronto
and
San. Fran.

good luck to all

Big_Mack,

I agree with prospector about it being your wallet. We have all done the same thing at one time or another.

For what it is worth of MOV's three plays I am on TOR a little heavier than the others. It's Gravy has it as a 10 unit play and Raymond has it "big". Both are excellent cappers.

I like all three. MOV has been on fire.

Sorry, I was at the 'Book for a while. Usually don't get this much traffic on a post, if I were to play one it would probably be Philly. A combination of the 'cap and price value.

Good luck

Big Mack, I am in the same situation as you, I lost all my 4 plays on wensday, about 10% of my total bankroll.

I am playing cubs ev for $8000/8000 to recover what was lost on wendsday.

Dont think for a minute that laying big chalk = a sure win.

If you are laying big money you should at least consider, better values.

MOV,

Thanks for the Cards pick (I played them small).. The Mets plus the Cards made up for what I lost on the Blue Jays. Since I was basically even for the day I took the Nickel play over onto Zona.. It's 6-0 as I type just hope they hang on.. KIM has pitched like crap as of late, maybe Batista can go the distance....

Football is my cup of tea..

Here's a good play since you helped me out today in Baseball.. I'm all over Northwestern -14 vs. Duke.. Good Luck...
