As a lifetime Dallas fan I have to say I'm thrilled and excited. There no question in my mind that Jerry has realized that his strength is in marketing and making money. Jimmy Johnson showed him what a quality coach can do. I'm glad he has got off this ("I'm really the coach") fetish. Bill Parcells will do wonders to the teams TV ratings. And to the excitement in the Dallas area. Which will translate to more endorsement and money from all other areas for Jerry Jones. As far as wins and losses for the team. Next year they will be at least a 8-8 or 9-7 team. The year after that. Well, I believe we will be a playoff team. Not saying it's a Super Bowl gaurantee having Parcells. But we will end up a factor. It's exciting to be a Cowboy fan again.:spotting:

Parcells first year normally sucks. second year is usually a huge improvement. third year they should be a contender for the dance if the phat fawk can get along with the other ego freak and stay the course.

Does this mean the worst bunch of frontrunning fans might show up for their games now? Dallas fans by the whole are the worst fans in the sport.

as just an nfl lover in general,parcells makes the league a million times more interesting and enjoyable...guys like parcells(and even ditka) are great for the league....as a longtime redskin hater(it`s what we do in b`more...no offense redskin followers)i am forced to watch skin`s games every weekend(some tv contract b.s.)....now the nfl east has steve spurrier,parcells,andy reid and the giants look to be improving rapidly...no conference i`d rather be tuned into for interesting ballgames next year.... love him or hate him,the tuna makes the nfl an even better place....cowboy fans have to be thrilled...man,spurrier and snyder.....parcells and jerry jones....can`t wait for next year.....it`s gonna be interesting

cant wait for next year myself. am a huge cowboy fan and have really been dissapointed the last few seasons. Looked over the schedule and see no reason why the pokes cant go 6-2 at home but of course the problem has been winning on the road and hopefully tuna can help as well as get us a damn offense.
