Alright... A little bit of complaining is fine, but I know two things that are true:
1). Pet peeves and moping are for pussies.
2) like poker, it takes skill, humility and poise to win. Also like poker, the rake/vig is too high to win otherwise.
I'm thrilled that I got KU -3. Between the 7-0 OSU run in 20 seconds and the bucket at the end of regulation which was a tenth of a second late, I got lucky as hell on this game.
Guys like Jord are better capers than me, but I think part of why I win is gratitude for the good breaks.
If you are the type to bitch about how shitty SJU or Ohio State played today (note: I had SJU and Purdue), maybe your first step should be asking "was it a good idea to be giving 5.5 with a team playing b2b" (debatable) or"was giving 10 with a middling B10 team against a 'best of the worst, scrappy' Purdue team in their home state" (no... Are you fucking insane?!?) rather than just whine.
