Mesa is one of those guys who you just never feel comfortable with, and is probably the furthest thing from automatic. His outing today was particularly bad, though, failing to even get one out.

YOu guys that had the phillies were even lucky you had a chance... Cubs up 5-0, and should of rolled to victory, but a few dumb plays by the cubs cost them the lead.

ok 1st of all.... their 5-0 lead was 4 runs with 2 outs in the 2nd

phily had guys on big time and finally took the lead so don't go saying they were lucky to be in the game

cubs blow leads big time, as does Mesa (whenever i bet them)

i've been losing way too many close games and late inning leads the last couple weeks

Boston, seattle and phily today are just getting on my nerves

its a bad streak and i'm hoping it turns around quickly

I know how you feel... I have been on a terrible cold steak as well... in the last week, I have had 3 games when my team was up by 2 or more runs in the 9th, and ended up losing the game... I would not of been so made, but one of them was my largest bet ever on the Whitesox over the Royals when they cameback to win. (5dimes) so, I have managed to lose over 10 grand in the last week do to this bogus chit that has been happening.
