Season Stats: 47-46-3 (-21.33 units)
Looks like some very interesting games on the board this weekend.
1. Lsu (PK) over ARKANSAS (5 units)
This is a major look-ahead game for a young team like Arkansas. LSU has nothing to play for except pride and bowl position and will be very loose going into this game. Arkansas still has outside shot at National Championship but feel it will end here as LSU rolls it us vs. a team who is too young to stay up for this going with what is at stake and still with the SEC Championship looming with a chance to go to the BCS - without a win in this game.
2. DUKE (+7) over North Carolina (3 units)
UNC played its Super Bowl game for lame-duck coach Bunting last week. This week, they go on the road to play Duke, who will play its Super Bowl this week and get its first win.
3. MISSOURI (-7) over Kansas (5 units)
Tigers go home to face arch rival Kansas, who they have not beaten in a few years. Mizzou has been a force at home with only loss and ATS loss coming at hands to Oklahoma. They need this win not only for improving what once looked like a big bowl bid, but to salvage a very promising season. KU is just what the doctor ordered. I look for a very inspired Mizzou team here who will go out and whip up on the Jayhawks very comfortably.
4. FLORIDA STATE (+9-1/2) over Florida (3 units)
Gators favored by almost double digits in Tallahassee. You got to be kidding me. I know Seminoles have really stunk up the joint but need win to become bowl eligible.
5. NEVADA (+3) over Boise State (3 units)
This is the game that will end Boise's undefeated season. Nevada has hit its stride in the second half of the season and has enough offense to come from behind if need be, or pour it on. Boise looked on fumes vs. San Jose State a couple weeks back on the road.
6. ARIZONA (-3-1/2) over Arizona State (3 units)
Wildcats have really got rolling with Tuitama. ASU has struggled and this series often provides underdog SU winners, but I think this year is different. Arizona making push for a bowl and playing its best ball of the year.
7. USC (-7-1/2) over Notre Dame (5 units)
I love USC in this spot. USC has not been putting up a ton of points on the board, but who know them better than California and Oregon? I have watched both games in their entireties and feel Trojans are ready to explode offensively. Booty has really been sharp and actually has put up almost identical numbers to Leinart. He is very underrated and extremely accurate.
8. HAWAII (-16) over Purdue (5 units)
Purdue will be mailing this one in. Hawaii will be making a statement vs. a Big-10 team. Joe Tiller has already went on record saying he wishes they did not have to play this game and that the only good thing coming out of this game is that his wife will be happy to be going to the islands for the holiday! Painter has lost a ton of confidence and is actually getting worse. His decision-making is borderline freshman-like and pathetic.
