All of those schools are public and any kid can attend? BS

interested to know that myself..

anyone know anything about the 25 listed..

I assume public school means invitation or residence and free.

Jericho is here on Long Island, district residence is the requirement. For the NY City high schools, they are open to any NY City resident who passes the admission test. For the other states, someone from that state can answer

I know that by the names of many of the schools it requires far more than living in the district. Zoomer mentioned an admission test. To me, this disqualifies a school as public because the students are cherry-picked.

Did you ever consider that really good public schools needs some sort of standards/requirements otherwise they wouldn't be able to house all the students that desired to go there?
