Above the Clouds....
So a friend told me that the four winners all lost to their respective opponant the previous meeting.

I know they always say it's tough to beat a team twice in a season but it does hold up alot of times.

If this holds true it would be Chi and Pitt in the SB and why not? Comments............

And Seattle beat NO in a rematch. The only thing stopping this from being scary is Green Bay beating Philly again. I do like Pitt (this time with Polamalu) and starting to lean Bears.

On the course!
Just remember something about Chicago.

3 of their road wins came against 3rd string qbs.

:SIB

Miami 16-0
Detroit 24-20
Minny 40-14

Plus, they lost their opener to Detroit, as everyone knows......but "the rules" got in the way.

Everyone should have had the road Chicago had to the playoffs!

:mj07:

And people laughed at Seattle.

Yet the line opened at Bears +3 vs the hottest team in the NFL:0002

When was the last time a 6 seed was favored in the Championship game?

I don't think the oddsmakers could afford to make it the 7 points it should be, by the way.

Every once in a while.....the underdog does win.

Defense wins championships......the four teams that are left are all in the top five defenses (in terms of points allowed)......Balt was the other one beaten last week.....

#1 Pitt 15.06 per game....14.89 home
#2 GB 15.39 per game......15.4 away
#4 Chi 18.24 per game.....22.67 home
#5 NYJ 18.94 per game....23.4 away

interesting - GB just as good on road and Chi worse at home...probably why spread is upside down
Pitt consistent either way, but jet 4.5 worse on road....value with pit??

the only advantage bears have over gb is special teams. That is negated by the field which the bears players hate. Bears defensively are worse at home. Packers dominated them at soldier field but 18 penalties took alot of points off the board and gave bears the game. One interesting fact is the same officials will be doing this game. Any conspiracy believers here is your chance. Anyways bears have to rely on turnovers to win this game that is what they are saying and really is their only shot. If that is what you are relying on thats not a team I would want to put my money on. The bears bend but don't break defense is in for a long afternoon. GB 27-10. This one is easy.Packers have a better team, better talent and that is what wins games.
