I almost joined the service, but what kept me out was the fact the all the recruiters were driving shitty cars.
Still, I wish I had signed up. I really do. It is the only regret I have in my life.

I know many people believe that this country is a money making war machine. I partly agree with it as well, although......I believe in this country and the values instilled in it since its inception.
I would have fought for it if I had signed up.

Anyone who signs up for military service is an idiot. Yeah, where do I sign up to kill innocent people around the world and at the same time put my life on the line for no money and wars that should not be fought. I'm sorry but that is not worth my life. Maybe yours?
And I totally understand some people cry about how they needed some structure in their life and the military helped them. That is an excuse for weak people. Sorry.
