My favorite team? The San Antonio Spurs. They're 13-7-2 ATS so far this year and were 49-32 ATS last season. That pencils out to a 62-39-2 record; a crisp 61%. Look at last night; they're laying 8.5 at Denver and they win by 9. They seem to have such a knack for barely covering that you'd think the coaching staff is aware of the LV line. BTW, if you're concerned about laying the 9 pts tonight have won only one game this season by less than 9 pts.

Thanks for the info. I don't know if this still applies, but a couple of years I took a look at the home and away records of all the NBA teams ATS. The one fact I remember was that Utah covered at home 60% of the time over a period of 5 years.

Watch yourself tonight. SA played a fast paced game last night at Den. Playing that hard at that altitude could take something out of SA tonight. 9' is a lot in this game. Show Port with a +3 adv without last night figured in. Good luck

GSP--

Check out the starters minutes last night. Duncan had 40 but nobody else on San Ant topped 30. Portland had 3 starters over 40 and two others had 36 and 33.

I used to lay numbers with them, but they didnt cover 3 games in a row and i got a little gun shy with them....and they were all back door covers because there scrubs are terrible...

I found the same with them...(Maybe the same 3 games

)

But what I found is that they more often than not (no numbers, sorry guys) they seem to cover the first half number.

I'll be on SA -5.5 HT.

They did it again last night. Favored by 10, the Spurs won by 11. They have a knack for narrow covers like no other team in sports. You kind of get the feeling Popovich is looking at more than box scores in the sports page.
