The Biggest Question about Scott4usc

You know what I've always wondered about Scott from day 1? It's a question that's been burning in my mind.

For the last several years, was he an incredible capper who saw the greatness in USC before it happened? Or was he just the biggest, most obnoxious homer of all time who stumbled upon one of the greatest feats in college team sports history?

THAT is the question.

After tonights loss and him not hedging a garunteed big win I will have 1 vote for the latter. mho of course

I can answer that question. I remember distinctly.

I thought Iowa State had the toughest schedule in the country, but USC can probably top it. It seems like Bill Snyder's teams always have to overcome a bunch of mistakes in big games. I'll take a chance here on the signs that Pete Carroll, Carson Palmer and the Men of Troy have had designs on being a cut above what they have been in order to avoid oblivion."

During my research that week, I had been blown away by several newspaper articles (one in particular that I wish I had saved) pertaining to a potential renaissance in USC football that was taking seed under HC Pete Carroll.

Right about then, I noticed a newbie named Scott4USC had appeared at Madjacks, and he was religiously offering a heads up on what was taking shape at USC. What Scott was saying caught my immediate attention. While I was quietly telling myself that I thought this guy was really on to something, I was also quietly telling myself that a few championships had yet to be earned before the likes of Vince Lombardi and John Wooden would have company at the head table. So help me God, I rember distinctly . . . So, Scott has definitely been way ahead of the curve on the USC dynasty that to date has landed one national championship.

Good question.

Here is a factoid. I have not placed a large wager on a USC regular season game in 2 years. I have won huge $$$ 2 straight years on USC futures wagers. 3 and 4 years ago I cashed BIG on account bets. 4 years ago USC was no dynasty but I predicted it. If Pete Carroll stays at USC for 5 more years, USC will win at least 2 more NC's.

Here is something interesting. 4 years ago I lost $1500 on USC in Las Vegas bowl over UTAH. I think USC was -3 and lost by 4. $1,500 was my entire account, all profit after great year betting. SUCKED! Horrible X-Mas. Felt like $hit. I remember my sportsbook was gotocasino. Crappy book. :mj07:

Next year I was given 1k by my Dad. This was 4 years ago and I was 20. USC loss in Vegas was 5 years ago. In the last 4 years, I turned that 1k into over 60k profit. Mostly through my posted wagers here at MJ's. If USC won tonight (and I didn't hedge 2h Texas), I would have turned that 1k into well over 100k profit. I can only dream but was SOOOOOO close.
