A blurb about this movie came out in Astronomy magazine 4 or so months ago and ever since then my girlfriend and I have been chomping at the bit to see it. Now I should warn you, this movie is not for you Woody Allen types. If you would rather watch a good historical documentary than Star Trek, this movie is not for you. If you have no ability to sit in for 2 hours with complete suspension of disbelief, then this movie is not for you.
Otherwise, I loved it. The cast was what I would call almost-star studded. Other than Hilary Swank, I couldnt name any of them, but they are all guys you would immediately recognize from other roles. The acting was as good as it could be in a movie like this as was the plot. But the action scenes were decent and overall I would go see this movie again, but again its probably only for sci-fi buffs. Would be interested to get others views on this movie.
