i think that the democrats are on the wrong pasth.
they lost seats in 2002 when history had shown that the party that wasn't in control of the presidency always won seats during the off year election.
the republicans had a very beatable president with a controversal war & people out of jobs.
but the problem with the democrats is that they have moved too far to the left.they nominated another liberal democrat from the northeast. somebody who the red states can't relate to. and nominating hillary in 2008 will put another nail in the democratic coffin.
the democrats need to nominate a moderate.
i think an ideal candidate for them will be the senator from illinois, evan bayh.
does anybody else have somebody in mind ?
we need both parties to be strong. not one completely dominating the other.
