After going 4 and 4 last week we stand at 8 and 8 after the first three weeks. This week we finally have some stats to cap by. My plays for this week

Patriots -3 over SD. On paper this is a closer game than I thought it would be. Pats hold an edge in TD's, 3rd down efficiency, and a huge edge in Passing Offense. SD has a big edge in overall team D. I am throwing out the KC game as it seemed like the Pats said "If your going to beat us you're going to do it with the run." KC responded well to the challange and almost did. I think you also have to factor in The Belichek Factor and give the edge to the Patriots.

Miami -3.5 over KC. KC does not top Miami in any of my criteria with Miami holding an edge in takeaways, Pass Defense, #3rd down %. Add to the fact that KC played the Patriots last week and so far this year teams that played the Pats the week before are 0 and 2. May not mean anything but worth watching/

My other plays are Tampa Bay -7 over Cincinnati and New Orleans -7.5 over Detriot. TB and NO on upswing Cin and Det not looking too good.

My last play is Denver -7.5 over Baltimore. Thru two games Baltimores offense is only a rumor.

Good luck in all your plays this week.

Kansas City
KC/Miami over

KC/Miami over

Agree with the KC/Miami game to go over. KC defense has been unable to stop anyone yet this year and offense has been pretty good. Have been going to KC games for 12 years now and this edition of Chiefs defense is the worst I have seen. Over should be easy as once KC falls behind the offense will finally wake up and score some points late in the game. My prediction is for Miami to take the early lead and hold on 28-24.

I heard this morning that 8 Patriots are listed as probable or doubtful. Troy Brown is on the list. I am sticking with my play but thought I would relay the info. Whether they prob or doubtful doesn't mean much to me. Either way they are banged up. The rest is symantics.

I'm with you on all your picks except:

Mia -3.5

NO -7.5

Mia:
Not that I think it will lose, becasue I agree 100%. But, since they are who I root for, I won't play it.

NO:
You could be right on here, but think Det has a good chance to cover, I'm staying away.

Good Luck!
