I am amazed at how little the announcers understand the game of football. Giving Philly that TD at the end increased the Redskins chances of winning that game from about 1 in 1000 to about 1 in 20. Phillly coaching staff should have seen it coming and maybe told players to take a knee at the 1. I guess they didnt realize that scoring was in the Redskins best interest.

And all the announcer (Marv Alberts' son) could say was "Well, maybe the eagles left too much time".

Are they really that clueless???

The funny part is that I hardly ever listen to what they say. I am usually doing 3 other things and just watching, but this particular game I'm sitting there sweating Phil +3 until Washington turned it over on downs at the 20 with about 2:20 left when the Eagles were up 26-25. I thought for a second, "Finally I can relax." Then the Red Sea opened up and Westbrook (I think?) walks into the end zone from 20+ out and I'm there thinking "Oh shit." Then of course, Alberts makes his comment and I just rolled my eyes at that point.
