An elementary teacher starts a new job in San Diego. Trying to make a good impression on her first day, she explains to her class that she's a Chargers fan.
She asks the class to raise their hands if they too are Chargers fans. Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little boy.
The teacher looks a little suprised and says: "Billy why didn't you raise your hand?" "Because, I'm not a Chargers fan," he replied.
The teacher asked, "Well, if you're not a Chargers fan, then who do you support?"
I'm a Chiefs fan, and proud of it!" Billy replied.
The teacher, now becoming interested on the lone dissenter asks, "Billy, why are you a Chiefs fan?"
"Because my Mom and Dad are from Kansas City, my Mom is a Chiefs fan and my Dad is a Chiefs fan, so I am a Chiefs fan, too!"
"Well," said the teacher, in an obviously annoyed tone, "that's not necessarily a reason for you to be a Chiefs fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all the time. What if your Mom was a prostitute and your Dad was a pimp, drug addict and a car thief, what would you be then?"
Billy said, "I'd be a Raiders fan."
