Love dogs, but they have been barking real loud lately, think things even out a bit today. Lot's of short road chalk with high %'s on them, the bookies could be giving some back to the little guys this week. I am gonna try and pick a road fav I think really deserves it's chalky taste today. Like a bunch of home favorites though, here's my best guesses with some rationale behind them.
NYG -2.5
The Giants have lost to the Cowboys twice and the Packers. The Lions have lost to Cards, Skins, and Eagles. The strength of schedule is a factore here IMO. The Game opened as a pick at most Vegas Casinos and offshore's and with only 57% on New York they have gone to -2.5 and are heading to -3. I like the Giants in this one.
JAX -3
No real big write up needed here if you watched last weeks SNF game. Jags are very stingy on defense, especially at home.
Indy -14.5
Colts off a loss and are at home against a rookie QB, the line tells the story here. Indy rolls against a team looking to get a "spark" from starting Brodie Croyle, yikers.
Honorable Mention:
HOU -1.5
The Texan's opened as a dog and are now a -1.5 fav with only 31% on them....that's interesting.
For you exclusive dog players the pair of +9.5's look nice, both GB and PIT have been blowing out teams but Carolina is decent on the road and the Dolphins....well it is the NFL and anything can happen, right? Lastly the Bills always play the Pats tough, and grabbing more than two touchdowns at home wouldn't be the worst betting decision someone ever made.
GOOD LUCK MJ'ers :mj09:
