After 8 weeks, I'm in the hunt, but just outside the money (tied for 26th). Went 3-2 last week, but I need to start putting up some good numbers.
SanFrancisco +6 I think this has to be my best bet of the week. Minnesota looked bad on MNF, and now they have to get ready in the short week for a game a couple thousand miles from home. The line has dropped to 5 at some books while the money keeps going towards MIN (fishy) and this line falls into the "only have to win by a TD" mindset of the favorite players, so I like it.

Buffalo -3 Buffalo looked like crap their last time out and GB looked magnificent. Buffalo's had an extra week to prepare, they're at home, and I like it.

San Diego -12.5 CLE stock is about as high as it will ever get in 2006. I just can't see them keeping this thing close. Winslow can't keep his mouth shut about being the best TE, so I would not be surprised if the Chargers look to Gates all day long and try to rub it in. Lot of points to give, but I like the Chargers here to bring back some reality to the Cleveland faithful.

Pittsburgh -2.5 Wrong favorite. I know you look like a moron when you lose, but these hit more than they don't. CLE held up for me last week, let's see if PIT can come through this week.
