This week is by far the toughest week yet because the games look way too easy, and I just can't stomach taking an obvious pick (siding with Joe Public).
Arkansas -2 over Bama - Only college game on the list and there has to be a reason. There has to be more interesting games out there than this (Cal v ASU for example). I think the line stinks and I'm taking the casino side. (current line at most books is Ark -1).
TB +3 over Carolina - I'm ill just thinking about this one. TB has scored all of 3 points this year and is getting all of 3 points in this game. Are they up for porking me 2 weeks in a row??? I hope not, but I have to take the casino's side.
Miami -11 over Tennessee - The line is high and Miami sucks. That just makes no sense. I'll roll with the fish and hope the casino knows something we don't.
Indy -7 over Jacksonville - Spread seems a tad high, but I like betting against Monday night winners going on the road.
San Francisco +6 over Philadelphia - I've seen people touting Philly pretty hard this week and that line says "They only have to win by a TD". This is just another one that makes me uncomfotable, but I have to side with the linesmaker here.
Note: The line is there to get even money on both sides so the bookmaker makes money on the vig.......give me a goddamn break.
At 6-4 in this Challenge, I am currently sitting in the top 33%. The leaders are 8-2. Every week is getting more important than the last.
