Yes, this was a great flick and if I remember right Annette Bening received a oscar nomination for her supporting role.
I also was associated with this movie. Remember the scenes where Bening slept with the hotel manager to pay the rent she was behind in.
Well the actor that played that role was Gaylord Sartain and I was his fill in for that day of shooting, Setting up the blocks for lighting and all the other stuff needed.
It was really cool but I DID GET DISMISSED FROM THE SET JUST BEFORE THE NUDE SCENE WAS SHOT, BUT I DID GET TO SEE ALOT OF OTHER GREAT SHOTS AND HEAR ALOT OF GREAT GOSSIP.
Boy that was a long time ago.
I think I remember telling the story here before about Bening cussing out the director Stephen Frears all the time because he kept her doing scene after scene over and over.
Then she gets a nomination for her performance.
Oh well, the good old days LOL.
