The Key to this game will be the triple option.
Notre Dame did an outstanding job of being physical inside to take the fullback away and stretching Air Force QB Chance Harridge out, taking away the seam, backcut and the pitch. They just beat the triple-option with overall talent and speed.
Look for Colorado State to try a similar game plan. The Rams will try to be physical inside to take away the fullback and use their speed to get to Harridge or go one-on-one with RB Leotis Palmer if he gets the pitch. However I think this will come back to haunt the Rams, when defending the triple option its much like going man to man. If someone breaks a tackle or gets by the defender there is no to back him up.
Notre Dame (one of the best d in the nation) has MUCH faster, stronger and skilled players than CSU on defense. CSU also has some major injury issues on defense espically the secondary. I look for Airforce to light them up like a Christmas tree.
