The Love, Hate, Love of Fantasy Football

[Another Steve]

Last nights opening game was Great. The NFL and Fans couldn't have had a better Opening. Well, Jessica with some skin showing would have been better. Damn Janet!!

As a Four league Fantasy Football participater (one a Madjack League), I was loving the start of the season. Then, it dawned on me. I had Manning, Edge, Dillion, Graham and Vanderjagt but I was Playing Manning, Edge, Dillion, Graham and Vanderjagt. So here I am getting excited and then realizing i'm behind in one league but ahead in another. Gotta love it. To make matters worst I pushed the game.

All of this in one Game. This Sunday is going to be difficult. Difficult not to have a blast, yelling and drinking. I love Fantasy Football.

Yeah, because of what you said I limit my leagues to 3. No sense in cheering for the Defense who is playing your quarterback! I have to say though, I had a nice start last night with Brady throwing over 300 yds, 3 tds (1 INT) and 1 of the TDs went to my TE, Graham. Also had Harrison in a different league. Not a big night for him but a TD. It sure is FUN!

I've got Brady in two leagues. Unfortunately he was on the bench in one of them (DOH!). In both leagues I got him as the 12th QB taken overall. I'll take it! In one league Tommy Maddox even got drafted before him. :shrug: Brady really gets no respect at all. For that matter the whole Pats team probably gets the least respect of all the recent champions. After the first 4-5 QB's were taken this year I really felt there was very little separating the next 8 to 10 QB's available...so no need to burn a good pick. Getting a guy of Brady's calibre so low in the draft is a bargain IMO.

And I also cut back to 3 leagues this year, for the exact same reasons...every player that does something good for you in one league seems to be hurting you in another.
