The Most Frustrating Thing In America? *Video*

What is it that frustrates you the most?
There are plenty of things you can think of, we?re sure.

For us, it?s the fact that all around us there is turmoil ? social, political, economic, financial ? and when a true statesman stands up against the beast he or she is ignored, discredited, and lambasted by not only the mainstream media, but Main Street itself.

Every American has gripes. Every American knows things are not as they should be. Most Americans will tell you that they distrust politicians in general, yet every election cycle they cast the same vote (if not for the same candidate, then for the same skewed ideology) hoping for change. Einstein had a word for this behavior?

Looking at our 2012 Presidential contenders, we can?t help but feel contempt and disgust. It?s the same story all over again. The election is being positioned so that we as an electorate are left to choose from the lesser of two evils, rather than the greater of two greats.

Does anyone really think Mitt Romney would be any better than Obama considering his initiatives, namely a failed socialized health care plan in Massachusetts when he was governor?

What about tentative front runner Rick Perry, the governor who forced HPV vaccines on 12 year olds via executive decree, the one who is oblivious to property rights and forcing Texans to leave land they?ve owned for generations so that he can build the Transnational corridor to further expand the North American Union, the one who claims Fed money printing is treasonous, yet fully supported the multi-trillion dollar bailouts for too-big-to-fails? Do you really want his version of liberty?

Then there?s President Obama, who in all honesty has been nothing short of a disaster. Mr. Obama has failed to deliver on almost every single promise he made. We say ?almost? because he did deliver on the promise to fundamentally change America forever.
It?s frustrating. We?re frustrated, and we know you are too.

When you see a Presidential candidate with the integrity, wherewithal and voting history to back his rhetoric, it?s frustrating to see nothing but marginalization from the media and the public. How can we as a people be so foolish as to ignore the only honest representative in Washington, choosing instead to once again fall into the mob mentality of having someone, usually a self professed expert, tell us who is or is not electable, who is or is not fringe, who is or is not mainstream?

There is only one who has any chance of restoring America.

Either the majority of Americans will back this candidate, or you can expect another four years calling Barack Obama President. Millions of Americans are frustrated and fed up, and they have been bamboozled not just for a few years, but decades. Those who have realized that candidates from both sides are nothing but a different head of the same snake are going to sit this election out unless a candidate who understands their frustrations and is prepared to act emerges from the Republican Primary.

Americans are sick of more of the same, which is what we get from 99.9% of political candidates in local, state and federal elections, regardless of party affiliation.

We will not compromise. We will not support another soulless, vapid sycophant. If Americans don?t realize how serious we are, they better get used to this for the next half decade:

It is our view that there is only one man who can beat Barack Obama, and only one man who can truly begin the process of making America great again.

Ron Paul does have a streak of independence, but most of the time he's a straight-down-the-line right wing Republican.

Let him run as a true Independent or Libertarian and I'll take him more seriously.

Right Wing?

Come on Duff:nono:

Ron Paul would like to...

1. Eviscerate Entitlements: Believes that Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are unconstitutional, and has compared the failure of federal courts to strike them down to the courts' failure to abolish slavery in the 19th century.

2. Lay Off Half His Cabinet: Wants to abolish half of all federal agencies, including the departments of Energy, Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, and Labor.

3. Enable State Extremism: Would let states set their own policies on abortion, gay marriage, prayer in school, and most other issues.

4. Protect Sexual Predators' Privacy: Voted against requiring operators of wi-fi networks who discover the transmission of child porn and other forms online sex predation to report it to the government.

5. Rescind the Bin Laden Raid: Instead of authorizing the Navy Seals to take him out, President Paul would have sought Pakistan's cooperation to arrest him.

6. Simplify the Census: The questions posed by the Census Bureau's annual American Community Survey, which collects demographics data such as age, race, and income, are "both ludicrous and insulting," Paul says.

7. Let the Oldest Profession Be: Paul wants to legalize prostitution at the federal level.

8. Legalize All Drugs: Including cocaine and heroin.

9. Keep Monopolies Intact: Opposes federal antitrust legislation, calling it "much more harmful than helpful." Thinks that monopolies can be controlled by protecting "the concept of the voluntary contract."

10. Lay Off Ben Bernanke: Would abolish the Federal Reserve and revert to use of currencies that are backed by hard assets such as gold.

11. Stop Policing the Environment: Believes that climate change is no big deal and the Environmental Protection Agency is unnecessary. Most environmental problems can be addressed by enforcing private-property rights. Paul also thinks that interstate issues such as air pollution are best dealt with through compacts between states.

12. Not Do Anything, but Still...: Would not have voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 because it was a "massive violation of private property and contract, which are the bedrocks of a free society."

13. Let Markets Care for the Disabled: "The ADA should have never been passed," Paul says. The treatment of the handicapped should be determined by the free market.

14. First, Do Harm: Wants to end birthright citizenship. Believes that emergency rooms should have the right to turn away illegal immigrants.

15. Diss Mother Teresa: Voted against giving her the Congressional Gold Medal. Has argued that the medal, which costs $30,000, is to
o expensive.

Find any right-wing stuff there, Lumi?

But back to your original question - "What frustrates you the most?"

What frustrates me the most are people who continue to hold beliefs and positions which are proven wrong by facts. For example:

"Our schools are doing fine" Nikki Haley, Gov of SC.

Fact: SC ranks 48th or 49th in education.

No need to list more; you know about that shit.

So what is your answer to the perfect candidate?

There are things on your list that I disagree and agree with.

It isn't my list. It's Ron Paul's list.

There is no such thing as a "perfect" candidate.

Some things I'd like to see:

Conclusions based on facts. Superstition and ignorance do not belong in the Oval Office. Neither does spewing party line talking points.

Intelligence and an open mind.

Willingness to hear and understand diverse opinions, and ability to separate good ideas from bad, whatever their source.

Equal concern for all Americans, from the skid row bum, to the school teacher to Warren Buffett.

Understanding that we all compromise one society, and that the most fortunate of us must help the least fortunate.

Insistence that every citizen contribute what they can, even the most humble of us.

Strong on education and infrastructure.

Reluctant to use military action when we are not directly threatened but willing to use overwhelming force when there is no other choice.

Harry Truman's willingness to do what is right, public opinion be damned.

So...who can fill those shoes?

----------------------

I have one plan which for a long time I have believed would be a great benefit to our country:

Mandatory public service: Every citizen, upon graduation from high school, or reaching the age of 19, would be required to do two years of public service, no exceptions other than debilitating disease. Flat feet wouldn't count. Service could be in the military, domestic peace corps, public works projects, etc. Everyone would be assigned to a location at least 500 miles from their home. Six day work week, and one week vacation after the first year. They'd be paid minimum wage plus a modest allowance for food and shelter. Supervision would be boot camp style.

I believe this would teach young folks how to work, how to get along with people unlike themselves, how to live within social rules, how to wipe their own noses, and instill patriotism. It would break up gang mentality, whether it's MS6 or the Hah-vahd set.

I'd allow college students who maintain a B average deferment to age 23.

Paul's the closest thing I have seen.

I do not agree with all of his positions and like Lumi says, there is not a perfect candidate.

I particularly like his foreign policy on interventionist wars.
