towns @ jmad, opened at 2.5 up to 3.5-4 ....last time they played 1/19/13, tows wins 73-47 @ home .....the last 5 times they played @ jmad the line was jmad : - 13/- 12.5/ -9 /- 10 / -6 / ... I'm leaning towns .... money seems to be on the home chalk..... your thoughts ....

bryanz, some food for thought on this game, forget the line for the moment, Towson crushed JMU yes at home, Towson 10-6 on the rd and 9-3 ATS on the rd, Jimmy Mad is 9-3 at home and 8-2 ATS at home, this line opened below the power numbers of several indexes, Sag, RPI and BPI, Towson isn't going anywhere this year so every game they play and win in the conference only helps them with recruiting - they aren't eligible for post-season due to the academic requirements which I can never remember what it is, something like APR or some crap like that. Towson & Jimmy Mad have played similar opp at home, GM both lost by 10 & 11 pts, Bill & Mary Tow won by 13, JM by 10, Tow beat Dela by 20 and JM beat Dela by 14. You go back the last 12 times Jimmy Mad has hosted Towson, JM is 10-2 straight up, last time Jimmy Mad won by 6 at home last yr giving up 12. Tout numbers have JM winning by 1-3, my numbers have JM winning by 9, but a 26 pt turnaround beat down from last game would be hard to swallow - thus I don't like this game one bit, my lean would be to Jimmy Mad, but what do I know? Just my 2 pence!!

I think the line is pretty fair. Why do you think it is so interesting? Too low or too high?
I'm not sure why JMU is getting the love that they are. I think they could have made the line pk if they wanted JMU money, and -5 if they wanted Towson. S0 2.5 seems ok, maybe a touch low, IMO.
Poon made the observation that I noticed as well. JMU's record may be a bit less impressive. Towson is flat better to me. People are on JMU for some reason or another. I will fade this move and take the doggie + the 4.
