needs to use the DH instead of the pitcher hitting.:mj03:

I am tired of pitchers looking like fools trying to bat and most of them can't even bunt worth a flip to move runners over. It is time for change to make baseball a better fan friendly sport. :00hour

I'm a National League guy myself. I think the pitcher batting brings so much more strategy into the game. The managers have to actually manage (ie. hit and run, bunt to move base runners, etc). The American League has become which team can hit the most home runs. I guess this is what the majority of the public wants to see nowadays, but not me. Plus, I think it keeps some of these pitchers in check. When you've got guys like Roger Clemens who likes to occasionally go head hunting, it makes them have to pay for their actions. I loved it when that puss Clemens, for some reason, couldn't make his start against the Mets after going after Piazza's head in an interleague game. Clemens is now on the perfect team in the perfect league where he can be protected from other pitchers and sit and watch his team play on t.v. when they are on the road.

I think that the DH rule is one big reason why inter league play is eating up everyone's bankroll. Teams in the NL are suddenly minus a guy who can't hit his hat and can replace him with a hitter if in an AL park. How can you handicap that? How can you handicap the NL teams ability to leave their good pitchers in rather than pinch hit?

Same in AL playing in NL park. You have pitchers who have had 3 at bats in their career suddenly being asked to hit. You have situations where AL managers have to pull pitchers for pinch hitters.

I just need an excuse to explain why everyone is getting clobbered in inter league play.

The same thing happened last year only not this early. Right before the All Star break, what was working for the guys that were rolling went to shit. It is (and was) the opposite for many others that have not been winning to this point. They are now starting to hit, especially on large dogs. Everything evens out in bases as the year goes on. I don't understand why this concept of averages is so foreign to many right now.

The only thing that needs to be ended is inter-league play. It is very unfair and undoubtedly hurts certain teams evry year. It is hard to tell players it should be about winning and championships and not money when some are getting screwd over each year in order to make MLB more money:shrug: Having said that I still prefer the NL to ALand do not want a DH:com:
