So it's been APPROXIMATELY 50 years since the ball started rolling giving blacks rights in this country. We still, obviously, have a long way to go. Having a black man voted in as President of the United States is a monumental and wonderful experience to go through as an American.

So I had a conversation yesterday about what our racial landscape will look like given another 50 years to grow. Is it possible that race will be a virtual non-issue amongst the vast majority of our country by that time? Many walls have been torn down in the last 50. I'm excited about our future as a country if we are able to stand together more than separated by superficial items such as race.

Thoughts?

I don't think race (black-white anyway) will be an issue in 50 years.
