Funny thing is I dont think they were trying to foul...pretty fishy officiating all night...and on the last foul, whistle blew before any contact...

the way i look at it:
duke was a 2/ 2.5 point chalk to georgia tech on the road.
i cant see them being MORE than that to their rival. tech hadnt won vs duke in ages and was a very short dog. carolina has been lame lately but the talent is there for a win and i cant see them taking too many pts in this one

GMan I think you are right - comparing it to the Ga Tech game makes a lot of sense. I inflated the line a bit because I thought that Uconn was a fav @ UNC, and partially based it on that, but I went back and saw that the Huskies went off as a one point dog. 2 or 2.5 does make a lot of sense, but still could see this game hit 4 if the public really loves the Devils.
Guess we'll see...Duke coming off an 8 point road victory vs #15 GT while NC coming off a loss to an unranked team...Vegas has no trouble getting money from Duke supporters, line will be shaded to get NC $$$. I wouldn't be surprised to see Duke -7.

You may be right about the line being around 2. But I really expected the GT line to be higher than it was. I thought that game was a gift, but there were a ton of services and handicappers on GT.
Duke is going to be hard to beat in my opinion. I've watched a lot of ACC games over the years and this is one of the best teams I've seen. I can see Duke jumpin' out early and taking the crowd out of it. We'll see. If the line is 2, I'm on Duke.

I have used thew Gold Sheet ratings for years and they are way more right then wrong.
Their line for Duke at GT was -2
They show NC +1, but could be an adjustment 1/ 1 1/2 based on results at GT
