The reason i am called "The Only One" is cause i really am "The Only One" on these board's that play's the way i play.

Here's a 2 team parlay that has VERY good chance of winning yet you guy's would NEVER invest in this play.

Top play's 4-2 +1.7U
Reg play's 10-3 +3.8U

TOP PLAY FOR TUESDAY

2 TEAM M.L PARLAY (10U)

DALLAS MAVS PK -410
KNOWLES / NESTOR -590 (doubles Aussy open)

Juice -230 (for ex. laying 2'300 to win 1000)

Keep in mind that i'm 9-1 in "Aussy open" in the past 10 day's

Let the Only One break this down in simple term's, this aint no "copy and paste job" just plain ol' english.

For those of you who are not to familiar with "Knowles and Nestor" thse 2 guy's are THE BEST men's doubles player's in tennis history. They are ranked #1 and #1 and they havent lost 1 set in the Aussy open, tonight they are in the quarter final's going up against 2 unranked player's. The Only risk i'm taking in this match is that one of them happens to get hurt during the match.

The Mavs...keep in mind that Rice and Mo Taylor are both out of action for the Rockets and those 2 jabroni's play a pretty big role in Houstons offence, combine that with the Texas 2 step and the Mavs losing 3 straight and you have a legidement wager going

PRESS CONFRENCE

*Reporter* Only One, will the Mavs cover the spread tonight?

*Only One* they might cover the spread but i dont gamble...i invest and that is why i like the moneyline

*Reporter* you have a very orthodox style of wagering, why is that?

*Only One* because unlike other's i actully win and that is why i'm called "The Only one"

*Reporter* where can the posters of "Mad Jack" find this type of wager?

*Only One* very few sport's book's allow this type of wager

*Reporter* why is that?

*Only One* simply put...cause the player has the advantage

*Reporter* why are you so confident and IF you do lose, wont that ruin you're so called "reputation"

*Only One* good question, investors lose at times aswell and if i happen to lose tonight i wont be pissed cause it's still a good investment, i would take the loss with ease and i would do it over and over again.

*Reporter* good luck tonight

*Only One* thank's but i dont need luck, give that luck to all the gambler's...they need it a whole lot more than me, now quit wasting my time jabroni, beat it.

*The Only One sparks up a fatty and waits for game time* :weed:

THE ONLY ONE,

First of all, congrats on hitting your earlier T-Wolves/Raiders 2H/Clijsters parlay. You were laying greater than 2:1 odds on that one, I believe. You're wise indeed in parlaying these high ML's in order to minimize your risk. As we all know, there's no such thing as a "lock", since on any given day, in any given game, anything can happen.

But, in the long run, you've gotta have some balance in your action. For instance, if you lay 2:1 odds on a consistent basis, you HAVE to win 2 out of 3 plays, or about 67%, just to break even. Whereas if you lay 10% juice, it's 52.38%. So if you "take your losses with ease", as you put it, you must be sleeping well knowing that you win over 70% of your plays consistenly. That's 7, 8 or 9 out of 10 of these ML parlays!

You also say it's "investing". (BTW, investing is gambling IMO, but we get to hedge the risk and diversify our portfolios.) I agree it is as long as you practice sound money management strategies. If I may ask, what are YOURS? I'm sure it would help us understand better given your "unorthodox style of wagering", as you put it.

Other than that, good luck on your play and thanks for the info on the Aussie Open.
:)

Rice and Mo Taylor are a big part of Houstons Offense????
Rice averages 9ppg and Taylor averages 6.4 ppg. Thats not very big. I guess this guy didn't read Jack's newbie thread. :nono:

I know there are a lot of new members to Mad Jack's out there so I want to throw this out there.

You *will* go broke betting large favorite moneylines in parlays. They are sucker bets. Stick with single game wagers at reasonable prices if you want to make money long term. I challenge any gambler to post a long term winning record when betting large favorite moneylines in parlays.

I'm fully aware about the percentage of parlay's i have to hit in order to be succesfull however i dont have a fixed amount i lay on each wager. Obviously the game's i'm more confident about get heavier action and i dont invest everyday, as a matter or fact...i tone it down big time a week after the allstar game and then i invest all my profits into the NBA playoffs first and second round which are lock's. The bottom line is that i have posted my plays here for the past 2-3 week's and i'm producing, i post how much i lay on each parlay/teaser and it's up to you guy's to do the math.

As for "Titus" the human follower, i said they play a "pretty big role" in Houstons offence meaning they are both legidement starters for the small forward position, i watch the Rockets on a daily basis and i know how much they contribute for the team and since Thomas is gone, Taylors the guy that's suposes to pick up the slack. So when i se Rice and Taylor out of the line up on back to back night's and in Dallas of all place's, you can bet you're ass that work's to the Mavs favor. And another thing...good luck on you're 20 "straight wager's" tonight.

If they are "sucker" bet's explain why the magority of "sport's book's" out there dont offer moneyline parlaying?
