I'm way on the under, and Hee being out doesn't hurt that...
I don't like this friggin' delay, though.

Hope he's alright--pretty sure just a mild concussion.

Fox is doing a good job with this one.

Kerry Wood and him tangled up going for a pop-up near the 3rd-baseline. Hee caught it (and somehow held on!) fell on his back, and a whiplash effect caused his head to hit the ground hard.

Wierd...didn't look that bad live or on replay.

Good money says he will be just fine.

I was just thinking how much abuse the heads of typical NHL'ers take.

I can see it now (gasp)

Helmets legislated into MLB

This game is a beauty if you like good pitching.
To hell (as if) with my under play, the experience of watching this matchup is axiologically more significant.

Sorry...I'm still recovering...

It wasn't the worst hit I've ever seen, but it knocked him out cold. When you're head nails a solid surface that hard, it's going to do some damage.

You NEVER assume a head injury is just fine. All it takes is a ruptured vein in your subdural space or worse, an artery and you're screwed. He was knocked unconscious. My thoughts and prayers are with him, I hope everything turns out ok.

This game is a beauty. I don't even care who wins.
Rocket is gonna get 300 sooner or later, so what the hell.
Besides, Wood sure is makin' him work for it, if it comes.

No offense meant, aye ddubs.

Enjoy

Acevedo sucks.
Cubs have a chance here.

Clemens only 84 pitches. Explain this move to me.
Maybe it's that "Yankees bullpen takin' him home 80% of the time"
Anybody else catch that?
Where's he got this # available from?

I entered that last one micro-seconds before he served up that home run. Cool to call something so right-on, but hopefully this clown gets Yanked soon.

Sorry, SteinB

I am watching the game and while Clemens ran into some trouble, it looked as if he was nibbling and not really laboring. I think at worst he could have got out of that inning with only 1 run allowed. They had no clue against him.

I wonder what is going throug Dawn of the Dead Torre's grape have a 6 time Cy young Award winner dealing or that fat overstuffeed cheezy gordita crunch Juan assholevader come in and serve up some meat.

:p
