But buliding a wall to keep illegals/drugs/terrorists out of the country is extreme and racist?

Its probably racist for me to post this article, or the newspaper is probably a right wing hate group, or the reporter is racist.

Did you read the entire article? Did you miss the local reporter calling it the "familiar fence" and that it is "up again"? I'm guessing we all have a similar understanding of the term familiar?
It's an added security measure used enough to be familiar to locals, and you're equating a temporary fence with a border wall? That seems reasonable to you?
No, I don't think you have to worry about anyone going to the trouble of calling the author a racist. I'm sure most will dismiss it as ridiculous long before they think about the author or poster.
